  1. Each person comes up with a list of 15 famous people (celebrities, dictators, super models, religious leaders) who you think are going to die between Jan. 1st 2008 and Dec. 31st 2008.
  2. You earn points for each death on your list
  3. The person who gets the most points wins.
  4. Each entry costs $11.00 per team. Money must be received by January 15th. I will be putting up a Pay Pal link soon. $10.00 goes towards the pool, while $1.00 goes towards admin costs. You can enter multiple teams if you wish.
  5. Prize money: The person with the most points earns 75% of the pot. 2nd place gets 20% and 3rd receives 5%.
  6. The judges will not hesitate to disqualify those who kill the people on their own list.
  7. Resurrection of dead celebrities on other entrants lists through dark magic, voodoo, demonic pacts, mystical powers, basement college experiments, spells witnessed on 'Sabrina: the teenage witch', vampirism, or plain dumb luck is quite cool, but not allowed.
  8. Creating new celebrities (perhaps with another season of Big Brother) specifically to knock them off later in the year is not allowed.
  9. The judge's decision on who is famous and who is not is final.
  10. Bribery is inappropriate, underhanded, despicable and financially rewarding to judges. Bribery offers can be forwarded to admin@ourdeadpool.com.
  11. Entry by interested friends and acquaintances, mobster patriarchs, bruthas, fast food delivery agents, sword fighters, hospital porters, mascots, and mythical beings is welcomed - although highly unlikely.
  12. It is the responsibility of the entrants to ensure the judges are made aware of any celebrity demises that may be relevant. Also, if their shoelaces should become untied at any time.
  13. You must have an email address to enter.
  14. You must know what your email address is.
  15. You are responsible for putting in your own entry via the form one the site.
  16. Incorrect spelling of celebrity names is not our problem.
  1. All entrants must supply a team name and a valid email address. We will never reveal your email address to anyone else.
  2. All of your chosen celebs must be:
    • Human.
    • At least 18 years old as at 1st January 2008.
    • Not on any form of "Death Row" or scheduled for execution.
    • Actual real-life people, not characters out of soap operas and the like.
    • Named individuals, not just "Pope Wotsisface" or "the oldest person in the world".
  3. Players must not murder their chosen celebs. That's cheating, and cheating is wrong.

On top of this, bonus points are awarded as follows:

Unique pick: +3 if you were the only competitor to pick that person.
Unlucky 13: +2 for a celeb who dies on the 13th of any month.
Party pooper: +5 for a celeb who dies on their birthday or Xmas Day.
Bad Karma: +4 They die on Friday the 13th or on the date 08/08/2008
